The Patriots clearly were a team that got better and better and better.
Their low point was losing to the Steelers.
They were 1-2.
They lost to the freaking Raiders for crying out loud.
And then their only loss since that entire for that entire time up until right now, depending on the outcome of this game, is a very close back and forth classic with the Bills where they lost by four.
So they clearly are a younger team that's getting better and better.
Would you really say that the Steelers were getting better and better as the year wrapped up?
They finished four and one, but they lost to the Browns.
I know that.
I get that.
And the Raiders beat the Patriots in September too.
And no one would say the Raiders last year were close to winning a championship.
The only reason why they might be is because they're getting a brand new head coach and the number one pick in the draft, which you get to cut the line when those things work out.
I don't think they're that close for the record.
But the results against these two teams do say otherwise.
And if you're a Steelers fan who thinks actually...
We can be a competitive team that makes a run to the playoffs and then finally wins a game with a new head coach who's not Mike Tomlin.
I hear what you're saying, but to me, it's not a very strong argument when both teams are on the field and the Steelers don't look like they're any worse than the Seahawks and Patriots.
They really didn't.
