Penguins, Pirates, Steelers can be outside of that world.
It is a Super Bowl football Friday, which means at some point we'll get into our favorite Steelers Super Bowl memories.
Here's one that I wish didn't happen, but because the Steelers won the game, I think everyone in town is okay with it.
He had two touchdowns in that game, both spectacular.
One where he high points a football Larry Fitzgerald in Super Bowl XLIII, and it was just gorgeous.
And the other is that one right there where he splits the Steelers' defense and leaves even Troy Polamalu in his wake.
That postseason run was one of the most clutch postseason runs of all time, and by a receiver, you're not going to find many better.
30 catches in four games for Larry, 546 yards and seven touchdowns.
Jeez.
So I like to try to do the math.
And in fact, pro football reference will do it for you.
If you took those postseason stats and extrapolated it over a full 17 game season, it's the greatest season in the history of football of any position.
He would have been on pace for 2,320 yards.
Oh, my goodness.
And 30 touchdowns.
That's insanity.
Oh, my goodness.
And he's now a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Your guy.
You know him.
