How would you paint that picture of what changes?
I don't talk to Ben on game day, so I don't really know.
I just kind of steer clear.
You see a certain intensity.
You know, we don't see him much in the locker room pregame.
especially us they go to the box we go to the box early so you don't see him address the team necessarily before but when he steps on the field there's a certain look in his eyes it's kind of like all right and you get excited because we get excited on our side because we have been like that's part of the process of why do you think you're going to we have been like that's a big part of it and you just kind of see it in the way he operates and you stay out of his way and let him do his thing and communicate when he asks you to communicate
Well, it's obviously ideal to have a year in the building, kind of see what the expectations are of the offense coordinator, what everything looks like, you know, being in Declan's hip pocket last year and being able to hear all the communication that was going on between him and Ben or him and the coaches, what every meeting looks like, being able to keep detailed notes on that.
So we're really kind of
operating at the same standard or the same speed we were last year, maybe even more because everybody in the room has heard it before.
We all know what the expectations, we all know what meetings coming up, what we're going to cover, what we need to talk about, how we want certain drills to look.
So I think from that standpoint, it's helped my times probably a little bit different just in terms of scripting.
I may pull myself out of a few more meetings just to be able to make sure we're staying ahead and the operations flowing pretty smoothly throughout training camp.
One day in, everybody's kind of excited.
It's the first day of school, so you see a lot of that.
But there was a lot of great energy yesterday.
He looks like he's moving around really well.
I think if he hadn't said anything, I don't know that you necessarily would have noticed through the spring the way he was moving because he looks like he's moving really well.
And we're excited to see what Rome does through this training camp.
I mean, it's, I have to, I have, I know I have two different 10 terabyte drives that I bring with me when I move and I give them to the video department and I don't think they love seeing me come down the hall, but you know, I make sure they load those up for me and then I continue to add as the year goes and it builds on pretty good.
I think like any of these guys, especially interior linemen, every single week there is somebody across from you that was probably some sort of college All-American or maybe he's a 12-year vet in the NFL, and they all present their different challenges.
