And they they knew that that meant that I think that they knew that that meant that they could do this and it would be OK.
Yeah, I mean, it is an incredible story.
I went back when I was preparing for this and read the Teen Vogue, like there's a Teen Vogue article about it.
But I imagine that
dozens of women came together and sort of in the tradition of women's health that had happened before, in the tradition of lesbian feminist organizing that happened all across California and the country, but particularly in the West Coast,
I think that they were already deeply politicized.
They understood how homophobia functioned.
