And that's a very active area.

There's over 90 studies now linking all of this to the gut bacteria.

So there's a lot of good evidence for this.

And with the faecal transplant, there's loads of other studies as well out there, a bit smaller than the ones that were published.

all suggesting that faecal transplant could be really beneficial here.

So again, very active, very research and who knows where this is going to go.

And it just shows you how active certain areas can be.

So the bottom line is some bacteria are bad.

They increase the risk of cancer.

Get rid of them.

However, others are good and those good bacteria will increase your chances of responding to anti-cancer therapies, especially immunotherapy, which gets the immune system going.

The immune system can see the bacteria that are there.

The ones that are beneficial then are making stuff that further boosts the immune response against the tumor.

increasing overall responsiveness and accelerating that process.

So a very exciting frontier in cancer research.

The science of cancer and bacteria could give rise to all kinds of benefits down the line.
