This is a four-letter one.
Anyway, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
So chronic means long-standing.
Obstructive means the picture we get when you breathe out.
So you blow into a machine and it has a picture of obstruction.
Pulmonary is lungs and disease is disease.
So COPD is very common.
The vast majority caused by smoking.
It can be caused by other things.
