That was the thing.

Anyway, so there am I standing like an absolute idiot at the bar, fully dressed.

and feeling such a fool because everybody came up to me and they kept saying, get your kit off.

Why are you here?

And I realized that having clothes on when everybody else is naked is the most conspicuous thing you can do.

I was getting so much attention because I had clothes on.

So guess what?

I stripped off because I thought I've got to cope with this somehow.

And then it was fine.

I could stand at the bar and just have a drink.

And sort of talk my way out of any, you know, I'm waiting for somebody or my boyfriend's next door or something.
