And then three, there needs to be meaningful prosecution of those who committed war crimes.
The ICC has issued warrants for Hamas leadership and for Israeli leadership.
Justice needs to be played out.
We need to have due process of law, and those who are accountable for these crimes need to be held accountable.
If we can do those three things, I believe we can get to a place of sustainable peace.
Without them, my fear is that this will be a pause of more violence in the future.
