Without this basic principle, and I emphasize this over and over again, and I will until I'm blue in the face, if we sacrifice this principle of due process through a judicial warrant,
then we are already a dictatorship.
If the government can just come and knock on our doors arbitrarily because they feel like it, and we have no recourse to say, hey, hold on a second, you haven't done what you needed to do to deny me my rights,
then we don't have a functioning Democratic Republic anymore.

you're arbitrarily criticizing ICE.
They're not going after citizens.
They're going only after violent criminals.

A felony is a criminal violation.
A misdemeanor is a civil violation.
A civil violation is the same thing as getting a speeding ticket or jaywalking.
If you want to take people and deport them for civil violations, which is what undocumented immigration is,
Well, then when are we deporting people who get a speeding ticket?
