I can count on one hand how many times I've seen some of the mainstream corporate media outlets out there.

They all seem to show up well after the fact.

But, you know, Don, I didn't expect to see you in my backyard in Chicago.

Just you and your small team just out there and making waves and being unapologetic about it, talking to all folks who are there.

And so the folks watching, no, Don didn't ask me to say this.

He didn't know I was going to say this.

But those who have followed my work know that I don't just give endorsements or give praise for the sake of it.

Don is doing the tough work, putting himself out there.

And for those who haven't already subscribed to him, please do.

First of all, my heart goes out to you as a neighbor and as a human being.

But if I'm Luthor, I'm finding an attorney to file a lawsuit against ICE for the denial of my due process rights, denial of my constitutional guarantees, my basic civil rights.

This is inexcusable.

And qualified immunity can never protect this in any way, shape, or form.

There are so many laws, just based on what he's described, that are being violated here.

First of all, the very basic due process right of requiring a judicial warrant to arrest somebody or to detain someone.

This is what separates us, a functioning democratic republic, from any kind of dictatorship or autocratic country out there.
