But for me, this is about how do we ensure we're meeting people where they are, building a message of compassion, of empathy, of accountability, and then pushing back against the massive wealth and income inequality that exists in this country. matched

It's worse now than it was before the Great Depression. matched

And I think the Democratic Party has to make a decision. matched

Are you going to recognize that this young elected official did something that nobody thought was possible and learn from how he ran his campaign on economic justice? matched

Or are you going to demonize him and go back to the policies and strategies that got us a 26 percent approval rating where 68 percent of Democrats want leadership to be fired and elect new Democratic Party leadership? matched

I think we have a very clear choice. matched
