So look, this is the show I had planned for you guys was I wanted to do an ask me anything. And I may do that at the end of the, you know, later on in the show, but I wanted to have a therapist on so we could talk about things because I think this week has been extremely heavy and negative. And I just wanted someone to answer your questions and, And then we got the breaking news. And so here we are with the breaking news. I just want to show you what it is. And I mean, it's really important for the country. It's really important for the rule of law. If there is an even, you can say a rule of law. So in birthright citizenship case, Supreme Court limits power of judges to block Trump's policies. Kind of complicated.
Because it doesn't really affect birthright citizenship. It kind of does, but not really. The ruling clears a major hurdle to President Trump's agenda and could reshape American citizenship, at least temporarily, as lower court challenges proceed. And so, again, and then also, it's not just that. We're also going to talk about this one as well. This is also from the New York Times. And it is justices let parents opt children out of classes with LGBTQ storybooks. Maryland parents have a religious right to withdraw their children from classes on days that stories with gay and transgender themes are discussed. The court ruled. What's next? Probably with maybe black history themes. I don't know. OK. And so the New York Times is offering as well.

I want to bring in now, let's bring in Dave Ehrenberg. He is the former Palm Beach County state's attorney. And Dave, I'm not an attorney. I find this a bit concerning. You say it is concerning, but don't panic. Is that correct? We do not have Dave yet, but we have Qasim. All right. Well, Qasim Rashid. Qasim Rashid is a civil rights attorney. Qasim, you may not think that. I find it disturbing. I am nervous about this ruling because you can decide anything is unconstitutional.
What if they decided gay people were unconstitutional and unconstitutional black people? And then you'd have to go through a rigmarole in court in order to prove. I don't know. That's how I feel as I read it.
