And that's how my husband grew up where they didn't really talk about it that much.
And it was kind of along the lines of you save, you spend, you give like there, it wasn't really broken down more into that.
And, um,
that's where when we got married, we thought, oh, everything's going to be great.
You know, we're plugging along and it's just, when you're not on the same team with someone, it really changes a lot of things.
And the stress is real.
Even in the first year, a lot of people assume the first year is like a trial run for the rest of your lives.
You know, like, okay, we're going to figure things out in those first year.
That first year can kind of make or break the next, you know, the following years after that.
And, um,
We finally actually started working with the coach ourselves.
And because we realized we're like, we're doing things completely separate.
And I was getting burnt out trying to hold a lot of it together and trying to feeling like I was by myself in a lot of it.
And so when we started the whole coaching process, I remember thinking, wow, if we would have had someone
like this before we got married, having these conversations, like we went through premarital counseling and everything, but we didn't go into depth of having the hard conversations with finances and everything surrounding that.
And once we got married, you know, we found out real fast how we were kind of forced into like, we have no idea what we're doing.
And that's what kind of started igniting the fire in me of,
I want to coach, but I want to work with people who are, you know, they're just getting married.
They're about to get married because they are at such a vulnerable time in their life.
You know, you're about to make one of the biggest commitments ever.
