So, well, what's fascinating about this Save America debate is that, you know, we have John Thune out there saying, well, we don't have 60 votes.

We've always needed 60 votes.

We don't have 60.

You don't have 60.

Well, yes, we can get into the procedural leverage that is available to these senators.

But what the president has said is, okay, fine, if you're not going to physically –

impose exhaustion on the filibustering minority.

If you're not going to do all of that, then fine.

I'm going to try to find a way to give this to you at 51 votes, and I'm going to try to do it through reconciliation.

No one's ever tried this before.

Donald Trump has said, I do not want this to be some sort of voluntary grant program that you can just get out of.

I want this to be—I want this to have teeth.

And so he said to the House, pass this.

They did.

And now he's saying to the Senate, do the same.

And you have John Thune who said, well, we don't have 60.

We can't pass this.
