So someone even said they color-coded their browsers so that they would know which window was working on matched

Double meetings, people try to avoid them, but almost everyone I talked to had done one at some point where they're literally logged on to two meetings at once. matched

And in that case, I was told it's key to kind of have excuses at the ready. matched

If you get called on in both meetings at once, you can say you're having a network issue, drop the call on one, come back on the other. matched

Someone told me he takes meetings, double meetings. matched

He has one on his phone and one on his laptop at matched

And that way, the one on his phone, he can kind of quickly physically move if he needs to unmute one meeting quickly and then and then remute the other. matched

So they don't risk hearing each other. matched

I think these people are at a point where they don't necessarily think of it as a career in the same way that you or I do, right? matched

I mean, they can't even put their full experience on LinkedIn or on a resume, which isn't to say that some of them don't have like big professional goals or that they're not wooed by the idea of working for a specific type of company. matched

But it's just become a little bit more about gaming the system and financial security and less about kind of climbing the ladder, as it were. matched
