Because you have to walk by faith and trust the Lord like that.
He loves them more than you do.
He has and he has them in his hand.
It is funny if you ever have a moment with when you have a moment with one of your children.
And I think every mother has to have had some moment with their child.
some of her children, where you want to protect them from something, something that you would have wanted to keep from, you know, you kind of have this feeling of like, but I was going to keep them from this suffering or this trouble or this trial or whatever it is.
That realization that any protection, any love you've ever given them is just a shadow of what God
is giving them and that they're not safer under your wing than they are under his.
Like that everything we were ever doing was just pointing to that.
Like it was pointing to his love for them, his protection of them.
But I would say it's absolutely a thing.
I don't know why.
So our youngest who's three has Down syndrome.
And it was so funny how when he was born, my husband and I kept laughing about this, that you would feel like, I don't know what his life is going to be like.
And then we would just laugh like, when have we ever known?
We don't.
Yeah, with any children.
No, and we never thought we did.
We never would have said, oh, we're going to make sure that all of our kids' lives work out a certain way.
We always would have said, this is in God's hands.
