We trust him.
You know, we love what He's doing.
But the funniness of having a child where anything stood out to you is like feeling like, but I can't.
It's like we've never been in charge of this with any of our children.
It's all God's mercy, God's kindness, God's love to us.
And so I think it is, honestly, when you're talking about fear for salvation, it's opening up a huge topic of theological differences.
We baptize our children in infancy.
So we are treating them as covenant children.
I was baptized when I was three.
My parents were not paedo-baptists.
We weren't baptized.
We were Baptist at the time.
So it was a profession of faith when I was three.
But I never remember not knowing the Lord.
Like, I don't have any knowledge of—I didn't have any big testimony.
I remember becoming a Christian, but I also remember it—
because i was shocked when i was like yes because jesus is in my heart and my mom was like no he isn't it was like what like i was like i was like we'd left some paperwork undone or something i remember the experience of that but it was not i know it was not when i became it was when we made it official we got it on the books but i know i knew the lord before that like i just did because i was raised in a home that knew and loved the lord
So I know that there is a categorical difference here for your listeners.
But I would say, as a parent, when you plant a sapling, you don't keep digging it up to check how the roots are doing.
You don't plant a sapling and shake it all the time and say, it's not rooted.
