It's like your job as a parent is...
tying them off to true things and you being strong in the Lord, you saying, no, I trust the Lord for you, I trust the Lord for myself, and not being fearful.
Because the thing that this is what happens often is that the fear that your kids are not being rooted in Christ is leading parents to actually actively sowing doubt in their children.
They're not watching your confidence in Christ.
When you're constantly fearing for their salvation, like, yeah, they're not they're not witnessing it.
It just creates that atmosphere of fear and doubt and mistrust that I think is counterproductive.
Through the years, my dad's been a pastor my whole life.
And he would always say that men fall away from the faith for all kinds of reasons.
Could be sex or money or fast cars or whatever.
But with women, a lot of the time it is...
A lot of the time it's a guy that she really is pursuing, that she's just willing to be led somewhere for dumb reasons.
But I would say any place that you're vulnerable to not wanting to be under the authority of God's word, women can get sucked into.
We have not tackled dating so much because it was already tackled.

Before my oldest sister.
Basically, he wrote a book called Her Hand in Marriage, which is about essentially about.
So I never recreationally dated.
My sister never recreationally dated or my brother.
None of us did.
And yet we all ended up married.
