differently wired child and you're finding that it's exceedingly difficult to pull them away from their games, especially their online games, you might need to consider the social benefits that they're also gaining from gaming.
It might not just be about why is my child so interested in playing this game.
It might be this is their social refuge, this is where they feel socially comfortable.

Yeah, I think it's a v individual decision.
Um, the American Pediatric Association, so for really young children, I think under the age of six, they say no more than two hours of screen time a day.
But honestly, that's kind of just an arbitrary number just to p I mean, you have screens when you're Skyping with grandma, is that the same as, you know, playing Daniel Tiger on the iPad?
So it again, it just comes down
To balance.
Video games should be a fun thing that they do, but not the only thing that they ever do.
Right.
I mean if they were you know when I was a kid I watched more than two hours of T V a day for sure.
And I that could the same concern wasn't there.
I think that and I'm not exactly sure why the concern is so strong about video games, except for the fact that they get such negative press and parents seem very focused on the potential negative influences they may be having because they never hear about the potential positive influences they may be having.
So yeah, the shaming is real.
I mean, I have friends with two year olds who are like, Oh, my child is never on the iPad and and the it makes everyone feel bad and I don't know why it makes us feel bad.
