And I'm Crime Correspondent Rachel Sharp, reporting from Plymouth County Superior Court.
So Lindsay Clancy, she was a labour and delivery nurse originally from Connecticut.
She worked at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Um, you know, obviously bringing children into the world.
And she met and married a man, Patrick Clancy, who is a Microsoft executive, and they had three adorable children: Cora, Dawson, and Callan.
They lived in Duxbury, which is an area in the South Shore of Massachusetts.
It's a very affluent, wealthy area.
People actually say it's waspy and it's actually nicknamed Deluxe Bray by out-of-towners.
It's a nickname that locals tell me they don't like.
But it gives, you know, that picture of what this area was like.
And, you know, neighbours and locals say, you know, it's a place where people come.
to raise their children when they want this, you know, this picture perfect suburban lifestyle.
And that is what Lindsay and her family on the surface had.
For some time, but that obviously all changed in the months leading up to January twenty fourth, twenty twenty three.
Yeah, so Lindsay, um, according to testimony from you know, several friends, several psychiatrists, several loved ones, including her family, including her now former husband Patrick and his family.
have said that, you know, she struggled with anxiety with both of her earlier children, but not as severely.
As with her third.
So she gave birth to Callan in 2022.
And those first few months, you know, Patrick himself also said, you know, she seemed like they they were having a good time.
