So she saw multiple providers in those months leading up to the killings, and she was prescribed at least 13 different types of medication in that time.
They are arguing that she was over medicated and that this over-medication actually, you know, caused her mental health to deteriorate a lot worse.
And actually ultimately.
led to this tragic outcome.
So she has also struggled with some anxiety.
Following the births of her other two children, but it seems never to the same extent.
Yeah, I mean, I've been in many courtrooms, I've covered a lot of trials and cases, and this one is just an the atmosphere.
All I can describe it as is just intense sadness.
You know, obviously we have two different sides in terms of arguments of what happened, whether this was murder or whether it was insanity.
But there's no denying that Linda Clancy was severely struggling with her mental health.
That much is not in dispute.
And there's also no denying those three adorable children.
Cora Dawson and Callan lost their lives in an unimaginable way.
So this whole trial has been very heartbreaking to everyone inside the courtroom.
There's been many moments where Lindsay Clancy has just broken down in uncontrollable sobs.
Her family, her parents, Mike and Paula, have been there every single day to support her.
Paula obviously testified as well.
And, you know, they also just seem so heartbroken.
You know, they're sitting there supporting their daughter, but they've also lost their three grandchildren.
