I'm an eBay warrior.

And so I'm a big Poshmark and Depop girl.

I was on Etsy and now I'm starting to gravitate toward Poshmark and Depop.

But it's amazing how many of these platforms are...

available now you know and of course we have the real real we have vestiaire like these more high end options and i think you know part of the reason why that's appealing one is it's a quality and cost issue but it's also um again gives you that sense of like oh my gosh when is this from where did it come from what's its story and you know there's one of one um

that's available on this website versus going into a store where you see, you know, hundreds of them.

So I do think that that, like, the reason why I would say I'm so fixated on this idea of delight and pleasure is because that feels very contemporary to me right now.

You know, fashion has this tendency to take a good idea and ruthlessly exploit it and over-define it and over-market it.

And I think as a result of that, you know, people become sick of the idea or they become confused by the idea or the idea begins to seem dated.

And I think that's unfortunately what has sort of happened in the realm of capital F fashion with sustainability.

I actually think this is good because rather than people saying, oh gosh, I found this brand where all the dresses are made out of recycled shoelaces, they're instead trying to navigate this a bit for themselves and doing the kinds of things that

You and I were just discussing like looking for things on eBay, you know, or adding, you know, NWT new with tags to their searches to say like, well, I did see this in the store, but is it perhaps available on the secondhand market?

And someone just wasn't able to return it.

So.

I hate to say that the impetus is on the consumer because it creates more work, I think, for all of us.

But I think that in a certain way, just the way that fashion talks about things like upcycling, which is the use of old garments to make new garments, or the use of recycled materials, I think a lot of these things just kind of go over our heads.

You know, when a brand sends out a press release to reporters and influencers and says, you know, we've been certified by this organization that we are officially sustainable.

I mean, I think that really doesn't mean anything.

And in a way, I don't want to say like it shouldn't mean anything.

But, you know, I think that really the only way that we're going to move towards a more sustainable way of, you
