So it really has just fallen into the ED's role, which I can tell you also covers many, many other things.

We have had, you know, the odd donor who's come forward or relationships that have been built where people have contributed in a fundraising way, but uh but we haven't had the resources to really proactively go after it.

And now basically what we're doing now is just diverting resources from anything that's slightly less urgent.

We're redirecting their energy towards fundraising for this period of time, but we won't be able to maintain that.

We'll need to have them go back to doing, you know, their regularly scheduled work because that's what's needed as soon as this becomes less urgent.

For eighteen months we've been running a deficit of between five and twenty thousand dollars a month.

And obviously that's not sustainable.

And nobody thought it was sustainable.

We just really thought we'd be able to to recover it through grant funding.

And the lead time for grant funds is about six months at the shortest.

So like between getting an application in, having it approved and actually have the funds come your way.
