And I've been in that situation as well where I'm like, I can keep going, I can keep doing this, it's gonna be fine.

I think I'm on count three of complete burnout now and hoping to never get to four or feel wishing I learned something each time around.

But that had been a big focus for me was, you know, recovering from from burnout maybe like four years ago.

And so my cup was really full when I came into this in terms of capacity, in terms of ability to to give of myself.

And I'm still being very conscious about that in this world, because this type of pressure could burn someone out again in in two or three months.

It's not, it's not impossible.

So I'm just really prioritizing the things I do outside of focusing on finding funding and and these pressures that bring me joy, that give, you know, that

distract my mind and make me think about something else and uh just kind of refill my cup in other ways.

So that's hugely important as well, just looking after our own our own mental health as as care providers or as leaders or any of those roles where there's a bit more pressure.

Yeah.

And the truth about nonprofit funding is that very few people fund for more than a year.

One year of funding is like the standard.

If you can get two years of funding, you're like praising, you know, just like

celebrating ridiculously.

And sometimes there's a three-year funding term, which is incredible, right?

But usually it's year to year.

So one year to the next, you don't know if you're going to get that funding again.

There's quite a process to apply for it again.

There's quite a process to report on those fund, those funds.

And right now we have funding through eight different funders.
