I'm not saying it makes me a superhero or anything, but it does help me show up well in a crisis and and help me stay grounded in those circumstances.
It does have to be balanced with a lot of self-care on the other end to avoid the crash and burn.
So just caution to anyone else who has ADHD and wants to step into crisis situations.
proceed with caution, but but I think uh you know it's it's been beneficial that I could be here in this moment.
I don't think I've said thank you for having me here.
This has been a wonderful conversation and I really, really appreciate you, you know, giving the platform to talk about momentum and I appreciated getting to know you both a little better and it's been a wonderful conversation.
We've said that a lot of times.
Yeah, thanks so much for having me here.
And it's yeah, it's been great to talk through all of these things.
And I think this is my, you know, kind of first foray into podcast guests life.
And I don't know if it's gonna continue or not, but it was pretty fun.
Yeah, I'll just say all of us know people who need mental health supports or have at some point in time.
If it's not us, we've had family members, we've had other folks.
And it just makes such a difference for someone to be able to get access to support in a timely fashion.
Like the the urgency and the distress that you experience in a in a difficult mental health situation is so intense hearing that you need to wait two months or three months.
Months can be just devastating and honestly lead to a lot of negative consequences.
Like we didn't go through some of the suicide statistics and stuff like that here, but those are very real and we could reference a lot of numbers around that.
So sometimes people feel so hopeless and just sitting down and talking with someone for, you know, and obviously an expert, not just anybody, but talking down with someone who's who's equipped and skilled can can give
someone that hope again and just that little flicker that they need to to think, okay, more is possible, better is possible.
If I just like stick with it, there's gonna be some better options.
