Well, I was assuming that they didn't know these policies, so I'm assuming it's a mister and he doesn't know the policy.
My assumption.
Mr. Broker, have you checked these two things?
If you have, great.
Give me my borrowing capacity with selling both, with selling one, and if I hold both, knowing these policies, and then you can make an informed decision with all of the information in front of you.

Emotional purchase home.
Can they sign a stat deck saying that they're covering the shortfall of the rental properties and then it shouldn't impact your borrowing capacity at all?
And I had a really similar case study recently where it was a client of mine that was a single female bought two investment properties and she was buying with her partner.
And then, you know, one wanted to sell both, one didn't want to sell either.
Borrowing capacity limited, but they ended up compromising and they sold one and then bought their house together.
And then, you know, she was still managed to keep one investment property together.
And I'm all for selling investment properties before the time, if it serves your bigger goal or your more important goal, as long as you know for sure what all the facts are.
So common debt reducer, but there's one – if you own something with your parents and let's say they are covering the shortfall, it could really not impact your borrowing capacity at all.
