So what was it like being in the Mental Institute?

I was on a ward on the 28th floor.

And I was with other people who were like a little crazy drug addicts.

They were alcoholics, all different type of people, you know, gay guys or whatever.

And I'd be friends with them, and we all had stories to tell.

You know, every week or so we would say, well, how did you get here?

Why are you this way?

And we'd relate, you know.

and talk about different problems and whatever.

Kind of like psychiatry in a way.

I'm an alcoholic.

Ah, and he raised your hand.

You know, I'm a drug addict and my name is blah, blah, blah.

And they speak and we listen to their stories and I sometimes talk about my stuff.

And it was all right, but at nighttime,

They would give us a little pill with some orange juice or cranberry juice, and you'd swallow it, you know?

It was Thorazine.

I don't know what the hell it was.

It makes you very groggy.

And they can control you that way, push you around or whatever, you know?
