I will just begin by saying, just reminding all of us that what is in front of us today is the adequacy of this environmental review.
We are free to, I suppose, make any statements we might want to about uh about the goodness or badness of uh of PGE, and certainly I think there are some shared frustrations, but I think as we evaluate the document, we're looking at the adequacy of the document.

Um as I explained earlier, it was my view that PGE is a bad faith actor abusing
Sequel with this appeal and nothing I have learned in this hearing changes that view.
Uh on the merits of this appeal.
Uh uh I am convinced it's baseless.
Um I appreciate the work of the planning department staff uh who rebutted every claim uh raised by PG and E.
Twenty one separate responses.
In my view, all of their responses are persuasive, among others.
Recirculation isn't required, the required analysis holds up.
The F E I R is sound.
And staff's recommendation to uphold the certification, in my view, is the right call.
Uh likewise I appreciate the work of our SFPUC and our city attorney's office, and if I may at this time I would move to approve item thirty six, affirming the final environmental impact report certification for proposed PG and E power asset acquisition project and table items thirty seven and thirty eight.
