Um, look I think Sarmasiskians um deserve a reliable and safe utility system.

And in San Francisco, we have long fought um for clean and renewable energy sources, which we now have as an option for San Franciscans, but we also have long fought for a municipal um

power system.

And and this is the next step and we know that.

And I would say that as an aide to supervisor Sophie Maxwell, um, we fought to um actually we fought to PG and E and closed down the patrol power plant and because it was polluting

One of the most underserved neighborhoods in San Francisco.

And then when I be on became uh a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisor and as the chair of the LAFCO local agency formation commission, you know, I think we also have done a lot of that work to continue to ensure that we have Clean Power S ev and have a um

investment, an ongoing investment, uh, to have renewable power sources for San Franciscans as an option.

And

And since we took office and I would say that it's the same time as Supervisor Malgar and I, you know, became the new members of the board, we already uh then to continue to advocate uh for us to have this process uh put in place for the next steps so that we can have a municipal powers.

But um, you know, we we continue this process in good faith.
