So there's that.

So I would say that it's one thing to be in the driver's seat right now, and that's all well and good, and you have your fingers on the levers and whatever else, and you're the one who can call the shots and make the decisions about who gets...

you know, a dose of electricity here or whatever it is, that situation is always liable to change.

And I think, you know, nowhere is that more, at no time in history has that been a more pressing or more relevant idea than in this day and age when things can change in a week.

Different systems can come into existence in a few days.

And so I think that that should be kept in mind by the people who are quite laissez-faire about the use of this technology.

The other thing I would say is that until there is a

recognition of, you know, an acknowledgement, even if it's just the simple stuff that is, you know, for example, you know, LRADs or, you know, voice to skull systems using acoustic laser devices.

know things of that nature like that's very easy it's well accepted it's in the peer-reviewed literature it's but it's i don't think in the uk for example it's even been acknowledged now that leaves a huge blind spot because and until you actually call things out and the public is made generally generally aware of them

You can't develop policy around it.

I mean, everything you do is couched in vague terms or catch-all ideas, which is a very rich environment for producing loopholes.

And so the other thing I see, and certainly from my own experiences, like on the one hand I'm now far enough, there's enough distance between my time and now that I can look back on those

that time and sort of look at it from a from a from the perspective of the people that had to handle me and i can say well you know what i can i i if i was in their shoes what would i have done and like maybe sometimes i'm like yeah i could probably would have done same thing but it's not legal

It's not lawful.

And so while I can understand it, it's still against the law.

And the behavior was truly unlawful in many respects.

And so, you know, that's just a small part of the picture.

And I was doing something useful, you know, and so or I thought I was doing something useful.

And or at least I believed I was doing something useful, which is I don't know whether that's equivalent.

But, you know, I can't imagine what it might be like for people that you have no interest in getting them to do something useful to you.
