And in the cases where my
basic communication system like I tried to keep things as normal as possible you know so that would be a mobile phone to most people and so every opportunity I had would be done the traditional way and so the only reasons that I would really be leaning into that system and I did
would be when my means of communication completely went down.
So I'd run out of batteries.
I was far away from being able to resolve that situation.
I needed to move from one place to another.
It wasn't entirely clear to me where I should be heading to, or there was a priority that absolutely needed to be dealt with and that I had to make myself available in such and such a location to do such and such a job.
No, I think there would be, I would have already been generally appraised of what I needed to do.
And so that, you know, it would be quite obvious what I was thinking at any point in time.
And so, you know, the best route with me was always to kind of nudge me in one way or another.
And as I mentioned to Jesse before, that could be,
the use of, in fact, was the use of, um, like, I want to say a jingle, but that's just the wrong word.
Like clips, clips of music or like a refrain from something like that.
That was very obvious that this was the link.
And that was where I, you know, I was responding to your thoughts.
Yeah, I mean, the thing is, there was a degree of uncertainty in this approach.
It's not, certainly like 10 years ago, or, you know, we're talking about when I was doing this was between 2016 to 2018.
in the beginning it was a bit like hit and miss i've got to say it wasn't always like they weren't picking up everything that i was thinking at all you know they would make mistakes and i can actually document that and in fact i've provided evidence of that to the to this tribunal it wasn't completely cut and dry that absolutely everything so there was a degree of um
error involved in that.
I generally knew when I left the house, or left the house of a covert intelligence source, I generally knew what it was I needed to do.
