I do not believe that some of these countries will stay an island and uh uh nothing is going to develop there and around these countries uh things are developing properly, this will not happen.

And if I now see

on the on the European Union path that we have uh maybe one or two countries of this uh Balkan region um

Maybe joining European Union, not uh

potentially in ten, fifteen years, but potentially in two, three years.

So Montenegro and uh and Albania.

And they are having a clear also political will to join this European Union, then I'm then I'm quite confident for that region.

And I still believe

If one of these countries achieves uh to join the European Union in that region,

In this Western Balkan region, this can even maybe have a very positive impact also on the ambitions of the other countries to join uh to join uh the European Union setup.

So I have to admit maybe sometimes at RBI we are underestimating a little bit the footprint that we have in that region and that this footprint is a very special one.

Uh I learned that now also during my first month is here in in RBI.

Going to um some markets beyond our core region, so which I don't know this uh I would say stun countries, uh being to Usbekistan, seeing how much or how intensively um our our services are needed there.

So for sure we are not doing the lending business but uh developing the capital markets, um being a bridge for for investors from from

From the United States, from the United Kingdom, from the European countries to invest there into government bonds, or being to China some some weeks ago, seeing how intensively our services are of value for Chinese customers being active in the region, not just selling their goods, also building up companies, building up production premises.

um investing in renewable energy in uh in the in our core region.

And here we are of huge value.

Cos what we can offer in is is in that highlight complex and let's say rather small setup that we have here uh country was.

So I don't countries with uh people living there which is in Kinese terms uh a district of a city.

Here we can be of huge value because we manage the complexity for them.
