Very historic place, the same ledger family.

Would be very closely associated with historically.

There's a very famous old house there called Donorail Court, very famous park.

But it's a community that, I mean, really takes pride in local sport.

And what is awful about this story is that tragedy should have occurred on the very day that the community was celebrating a major sporting triumph.

Donorail had won a junior B North Cork football team.

It was a major achievement for the community.

There was great celebrations.

And unfortunately this tragedy occurred as those celebrations were taking place on the main street.

Yeah, that's right.

There was a major celebration, as we mentioned, and eventually those celebrations came to revolve around a pub on the main street of the town.

And celebrations went over the evening of October the 11th and went into the early hours of October the 12th.

And there was quite a gathering of people on the streets of Doneraill.

And unfortunately, some people had just had too much to drink.

And there was one or two incidences, clashes that arose.

And one of those incidents, Alex Deedee, um his girlfriend, I know Alex Deedee is 21 years old, and he was going out with a girl called Rachel O'Kelly.

And she claimed that she was punched by Barry Daly, the deceased, in this case.

Now, there was evidence given that that Mr.

Daly immediately said to other people that he apologized.
