They have ways that they've dealt with it, which I appreciate, like from an editor's point of view or figuring out how to kind of deal with that aspect of putting an unabridged full production together.
Sometimes the characters are just kind of like, you know, fake talking amongst themselves while we have the narrator saying something like, and then Ron and Hermione chatted all the way back to...
hogsmeade or whatever yeah that's right right and you hear like the chit chat phone convo kind of vibe like the back in the day you can't really hear what they're saying but they're bantering yeah you can't hear what they're saying but they're la-di-da yeah exactly stuff like that or you know characters are in movement
And book one was great for this.
We followed Vernon Dursley for the first little while, like a long time, while he's just going through his workday, going through his office day, figuring out like, oh, this is strange.
Some weird stuff is going on around here.
And it's all narration, but you're just following him through soundscape, essentially.
And you're in touch with what's going on, but it's paced out differently than if there was like a live action or something immediate going on like a duel.
But it worked.
There was a lot of that in book two, I think, or at least I remember it in book two so much more.
I'm like, oh my gosh, they're laughing still.
How much longer are we going to do this?
It's like awkward because we know that we're getting through a narration bit.
But also like I wonder, Jacob, because I have read Harry Potter over and over and over again.
I wonder if other people will pay such minute attention to, you know, these kinds of things.
Um, if you're not rereading Harry Potter all the time and then thinking, Ooh, I wonder how they're going to do this part.
Like I look forward to upcoming books and go, I wonder how this is going to play out in the full production.

Rowling kind of wrote these books in a way where, yeah, one, two, and three, you're building, building, building.
By four, you've got some major stuff going on, which is what we got here, right?
