Some people theorize another planet, others like a dark star.
What is a dark star?
Well, a dark star is basically one that has very low albedo.
It has very low reflectivity.
We don't see it.
Got it.
You know, covered, it could have, you know, in its journey through space, it could have accreted a lot of stuff to it, space dust, cosmic dust.
And so, therefore, it's not reflecting the kind of light that we would see.
It's not emanating its own light.
So it's like camouflage to the blackness of space.
Yes.
Again, the predator analogy.
It's kind of invisible.
for whatever reason.
And that's probably the reason, is that not only is it invisible, but if it's out there in deep space, we'd have to be looking at precisely the right place at the right time to even see it.
I have not really done the in-depth study on some of the recent research about the potential.
There are some serious scientists that think it's a very plausible mechanism.
Like, isn't this kind of theβ
As we look back now over the last, say, quarter million years, we've got a pretty good chronology of what has happened in terms of climate change and the environment, in terms of disturbances, catastrophes, and so on.
If we look at the modern epoch, geological, climatological epoch that we're in now, the Holocene,
