And once you hit 34, 35 years of age, that speed does drop off.

Do the elite teams in the NHL want to look at a Brendan Gallagher right now?

But in the NHL today's day and age to get 28 goals from Jake DeBrus last year and this past season, 23 in an off year, 5.5 is value.

And the other thing is some of those names you mentioned, Nazem Khadri, Brady Kachuk, Konechny, Sam Bennett.

Those guys get to the middle.

And I know Mitch Marner's, you know, at times a perimeter player, but he's an elite player.

We know when he's playing his game, as we're seeing in the playoffs right now, he can be, you know, a difference maker.

I'm not saying Jake DeBrusque is obviously to that level, but one thing that Jake DeBrusque consistently does, and the stats back this up, guys, is he gets to the middle of the ice.

He was, for a good chunk of the season...

was top five, top seven in the NHL in slot shots and inner slot shots.

Now, whether he can score at a high volume to compete with some of those names I mentioned, that's obviously debatable.

But the fact of the matter is, he gets to the middle.
