You know, people still, some people are very uncomfortable with even their spouse knowing what they earn or how much they make or how little they make.

Yeah, I was actually talking about that with a couple of other lawyers here and I'm not alone.

It's happened a few times where, you know, people come to us and they say, I want to have a prenup.

And we say, what do you want?

You know, what do you want him or her to have?

What do you want to protect?

Yeah.

And then we come to the part of the conversation where I say, okay, to make it enforceable, you need to disclose everything.

He or she on the other side needs to know what they're giving up.

How much do you have?

A million, five million, nothing.

And as soon as we have that conversation, there's always somebody who says, if I have to tell him everything I have,

I'd rather not get married.

And I've had at least one that I can remember.

I know one of my partners just told me a story about somebody.

Yeah.

Like, I don't want them to know how much I have.

They're going to look at me different.

Or sometimes I don't want them to know how little I have, you know?

Yes.
