True.

But also, this is going to sound crazy, Harry couldn't do this now with Lara if it wasn't for what he had gone through with Karen.

How's that?

So, before Karen, I don't think Harry was in the business of trusting or being vulnerable with anybody.

And she is like one of the earliest examples of Harry letting someone into his life slowly and like building trust.

And then throughout the relationship with Karen, the friendship with Karen, more people come into Harry's life.

And he's able to have these relationships of trust with more and more people.

Mm-hmm.

Um...

So now he's a completely different person than he was when he first met Murphy.

And he doesn't get to be the person he is today if it's not for that relationship, that friendship, everything he'd been through with Karen.

Stormfront Harry is not able to have this level of trust and respect and whatever other nice word I'm thinking of that he has.

So even though I don't want to compare Lara and Murphy in, like, who's the better fit for Harry, I do want to give Karen her flowers, as the kids say.

She's like that kind of thing where you have a boyfriend and he's like, you fucking had to rebuild him from scratch.

And then he goes on to the next partner and he's like everything that he couldn't be when you were with him.

It's kind of like that.
