This was probably negotiated and Biden being such a family man, nobody wanted to piss him off over this.
But obviously-
You know, you don't want to hand people the photo and all that, but but to sort of elevate it a little bit.
This is obviously, I think, like a really strong defense of his record.
And like the difficult dance that the planners of this convention had to undertake is that they knew putting Biden on, he was going to talk about his record, which inherently is going to be about the past.
And I think it was smart to put this on the first night.
I think he had incredible things to say about what he's done as president.
But obviously, Harris is going to want to point the way forward and take some credit for what Biden has done, but really focus on the future.
And I think putting it Monday is really smart.
Yeah, they gave him the gold watch, as they say.

We didn't see Laura Bush.
We didn't see Vice President Pence.
If you compare this show of unity here, even on the first Democrats to the very thin representation that we saw from the Republicans.
