It looks like it.
I mean, it looks like he's been spending time either at Camp David or in Delaware.
Like he looks tanned, rested, energetic.
You know, he benefits from what I think Kamala Harris also benefited from, which is a relentless onslaught from the Republicans that have really lowered the expectations.
That's the dangerous game that they've played.
And he cleared it in spades tonight, as has the vice president, who obviously has run a near flawless launch.
And so I think the Republicans are in many ways reaping what they've sowed in the expectations game.
Well, because he has a lot to talk about in his presidency.
That's the thing.
I, like Whitney, was fairly critical of Biden staying in the race.
But at the same time, I've been anything but critical of his performance as president.
I think he's accomplished more even than what we did in the first term of the Obama administration.
And I think even veterans of the Obama administration, almost to a person, will admit that.
He's he's accomplished a ton.
And I think like getting out of the race allowed him to, yes, as the kids are saying, get some rest, get some sleep and then wake up and be like, hey, I've got the energy and the wherewithal now to finish the job and actually talk about this record in a lucid, clear way.
And I think for people watching, it's refreshing to see their president up for the task and able to tout this record that is actually hard to talk about because there's actually a lot there.
And there's no central theme to his presidency.
He's really touched on so many different areas.
