So suddenly, Martin is kind of rich, and he's happy to have money now, but he's devastated about his boss dying, mostly because he doesn't really have any other friends.
And now that she's gone, Martin really only has his dad, who we'll just call Martin's dad.
And Martin's dad, he's an interesting guy as well.
He has this dream to buy this local bed and breakfast, and he wants to turn it into the family business, you know, that he and the family can run together.
And this place is called Seascape Cottage.
So Martin's dad tries to buy Seascape Cottage.
However, another couple beats him to it, and now they own it.
And this pisses Martin's dad off.
Like, he really wanted to own this place.
And not only is he upset, but he's actually unable to get over it.
And eventually, he spirals into a really bad depression, and unfortunately, he ends up taking his own life.
And of course, this is devastating for Martin.
I mean, he has no one now.
He's completely alone.
But soon, his devastation turns into anger.
And he starts to blame his dad's death on the new owners of Seascape Cottage.
I mean, he feels like they're the reason for all his unhappiness.
They should have never bought that place.
Not only that, he starts getting mad at like the entire world because he feels like he doesn't have any real friends.
He feels like his loneliness is everyone else's fault.
