So for us, it's a category three right now with 115 mile per hour sustained winds.

It's moving to the west at 12 miles per hour.

And so that's a pretty fast motion for a storm this strong.

But even with that fast motion, look how strong it's getting as it moves to the west.

We're talking upwards of 165, 180 miles per hour.

so it goes to what's the equivalent of cat 5 for us just like that but look how far it is away from japan and korea and so probably can't maintain that strength for that long and so the marshall islands will have to be concerned but that's about it so this could end up being another one of our favorite kind of storms where it doesn't end up impacting anyone

Super fun to watch on the satellite, super fun to keep track of and marvel at how strong it is.

Now, Pacific typhoons do tend to get a little stronger than our Atlantic systems do.

They have a lot more real estate and a lot less shear.

This is the European model for dolphin.

And so you can see really not showing any signs of weakness over the next couple of days into the weekend.

And so it's just one of those that's wild to watch.

It's really hard for a system to maintain category five strength for more than a couple of days.

So I do think this will end up running into some shear or running into some cooler waters that will weaken it before it gets anywhere near land, because right now it is not anywhere near land.
