It got into my system and it became very normal for me to love football, which again, for a nine, 10 year old in the 80s, early 90s, that wasn't normal.

But for me, it's always felt normal.

I think is one that's probably not an emotion, is it?

So, yeah, belonging, community, a pure joy that you don't find, or I haven't yet found anywhere else, a release, I think, a real release, which happens when you score a goal,

And a bonding.

I mean, I think those are the... When I look at it now and I think about it now, being a part of a fan experience following a team like Crystal Palace or following a country like England, it felt very much like being a part of something.

And I think that...

is what I love so much.

That mutual experience of all wanting the same thing and all hoping to get it.

Very rarely getting it.

But when you do get it, when the goal goes in or the game is won, oh my goodness.

Again, a mutual feeling of joy, which you just don't get anywhere else, guys.

Well, when I said you don't get it very often, Adam, I will just return to that because as a Crystal Palace fan, you definitely don't get it very often.

We actually had no trophies for 160 odd years.

And then a year ago, we won the FA Cup, which goes down as top three days of my life.

And that was a long wait.
