And that is an expectation that we should all have.
So these people that are on the verge of retirement, 10 years or less outside of retirement, the last thing we want them to do is repeat the Great Recession.
We don't want their portfolios to go down anywhere from 38% to 57%.
We want that money protected as much as possible.
get safe growth from there.
They could probably do pretty well in retirement as long as they don't go through this major correction that's coming.
And it will come as it always comes through the market cycles.
Thank you so much for having me.
One of the best things to do, obviously, is to attack the highest interest rate credit cards first.
A lot of people think that they should attack the highest balance first.
That's a very common
perception.
Oh, I owe $20,000 on this card and only 5,000 on that one.
So I'm not going to worry about the 5,000.
I really got to get this 20,000 down.
But if the 20,000 is say at a 4% interest rate and the 5,000 is at a 12 or 14% interest rate, it's really the $5,000 card that we want to eliminate first, because obviously more money is being charged as interest as a percentage of the balance than on the $20,000 card.
So we always want to look at the highest rate cards first and attack those the most aggressively.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Yes.
