You know, we're all human, we all go through things and I feel like it's something that we're building and we've built here over the club for some time that, you know, those conversations are okay to have and, you know, you don't stand alone.
For us in a team environment, it takes a team to get results and it takes, you know, a good mate to be able to have a conversation.
So whether that be on the field, off it, whether it might be in the construction side, it might be at school for young kids.

We spread awareness, you know, that message that it's okay to be vulnerable, talk to your mate or whoever it might be.
For us as a team, we've been putting some really good weeks together at training.
It hasn't been the same on the field, so I feel like if we just keep our head down, keep working really hard, we're putting in the hours and the hard work here at training.
We probably haven't been getting the results on the field, so it's really important that we go out there now at our jobs and show those signs that we have been at training.

So I feel like that's what makes it so great.

I understand that I haven't been upholding those standards, but it's about putting in the hard work here at training, relaying that back onto the field.
If I keep working hard in those areas that I need to, I'm sure it'll turn out.

Like, I feel like, you know, there was a point last year where we were going through the same sort of rollercoaster and we had the same sort of conversations in-house, so...
Just shows the quality, you know, that we have here at the club and the quality of leader that Perno is.
