You heard that laundry list of charges that that judge read out.
You know, Clay and I had a situation on his show where somebody called in, quoting that Charlie Kirk, Black people are responsible for 50% of all crimes in America, which is absurd.
There's not even enough of us to commit half of the crimes in this country.
But one of the points that I made then, and if you listen to what he said, it basically confirms it.
There are a lot of areas where white people in their communities, they don't get charged for not even a fraction of the stuff they can get charged from.
If the races were reversed and it was a bunch of black kids, the parents would be in jail.
They would be arrested.
It would be all of those charges would be filed already to put maximum pressure on them and their families.
And so...
I know it's not directly related to this, but we should keep in mind things like what that judge just said when people are quoting incorrect statistics or when people are pushing narratives around the so-called criminality of Black people, when there is all this stuff that could be charged but never get charged because people are pals with one of the judges or people are pals with the sheriffs.
And as Black people, we don't get that kind of grace.
We don't get a free pass for anything that we do.
But for the record, that judge laid out a lawful path
to exerting pressure on the people in this case to find out what happened.
He didn't say frame anybody.
He didn't say put half-empty liquor bottles in somebody's boat.
He said, based on the public accounting of what happened, these are potential charges.
This is a legal mechanism, a rightful mechanism that can be employed to get answers in this case.
I think that that is fair.
Now, is it unfairly applied to black people?
