And you heard Marco Rubio saying that we've been mostly insulated.
And so I think it's going to depend on how long this conflict is and if anything happens in terms of what we've seen in the past, where we had the Inflation Reduction Act, we've had the American Rescue Plan, we had covert relief and all these things.
That doesn't seem to be the case.
in the near term, maybe if we have a switch of Congress that might be on the table.
Yeah.
Can I add one more thing since you brought that up?
Okay.
So I'm glad you brought up the deficit because the other thing that's happening right now too is we're seeing a massive wealth transfer.
And so when we have seen, for instance, the farm bill passed one hundred and eighty seven billion dollars cut from snap.
Now, that hasn't gone into effect because you have to pass it in the Senate, et cetera.
However, when you look at the big ugly bill, when you look at the farm bill taking out money, when you look at one point five trillion dollars for the Department of Defense, which is going to go to contractors.
When you look at, that's not even including the $200 billion that they're asking for a further war.
We're seeing the money that is coming out of these different agencies and out of these different programs going to the war is money that props up our economy.
When you have SNAP benefits that props up the local economy, we get a return on investment.
So that's dollars circulating within our community, which means jobs, which means options.
And so we have a war.
To Dr. Pape's point, we have a huge deficit and we have a government that has and with this trifecta has decided to transfer wealth from programs, agencies and people to the wealthiest, which we will not have.
That trickle down effect has been completely disproven.
And so there are all these factors while we have a government that is not centered or with their lens towards wealth.
the working people towards the middle class, towards education and towards engineering and all of these things that prop up that make the American economy grow and make housing more stability, stable, stable and health care.
