I'm not on TikTok anymore.
But there's there's a brand for all of them that is now attached to a celebrity.
So, just to give you a little bit of an idea of what this landscape looks like, I'm going to get into a brief, uncomprehensive list of celebrity wellness beauty lifestyle brands.
A work life article listing the most successful celebrity brands in every category, from beverages to clothing to beauty, details how complex a celebrity brandscape has become.
With the word salad branding we've grown used to, thanks to the internet, it seems like any and all
of the millions of celebrity brands out there nowadays could be construed as a wellness brand.
I'm sure you've seen some of these celebrity brands.
I'm just going to rapid fire list off some of these from the beverage makeup and clothing category.
Amber Chamberlain's Chamberlain Coffee, Logan Paul and KSI's Prime Hydration, Bella Hadid's Kiny Forex, Blake Lively's Betty Buzz, Nina Joe Brab and Julian Huff's Fresh Fine Wine, Billy Bobby Brown's Florence by Mills, Harry Styles is Pleasing, Ryanna Grande's Rem Beauty, Hailey Bieber's Road Skin, Marianne Hewitt's in Lauren Ireland's Summer Fridays, Jessica Alba's Honest, Alexis Wren's Ren Active, Amanda Steel's Steel, Justin Bieber's Drew House, Revolve, Heela and Ethan Klein's Teddy Fresh and Kate Hudson's Fatherics.
And those are just the ones that this work life article found no.
Notable.
That's not even including the Colti Shea Mitchell children's beauty brand that also made me want to do this episode.
Children's.
There is absolutely a bajillion of them.
All of them are kind of wellnessy.
So what is a celebrity wellness brand?
CXG.com points out the same dichotomy between the age-old celebrity endorsement and the newer celebrity run operation that I talked about earlier.
The idea that celebrities, whether movie stars, musicians, or royalty, epitomize, endorse, and stand for products is not new.
However, the concept of an actual brand being built by and around the celebrity itself and the accompanying evolution of a dedicated segment spanning premium and luxury brands is relatively new.
And this is what really hooks me as a modern development of this world.
