And I think that they've really cracked the code too.
We can just kind of cut out the middleman of having any kind of reason to create the product beyond there being a celebrity behind it.
Particularly as it pertains to the Kardashians.
I'm thinking about when I was younger and more impressionable than I am now.
I remember it was Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian doing like the skinny tea advertisements.
And that was kind of the era of the endorsement, which I feel like was the first wave of.
this and from endorsements, these celebrities have realized like, well, I can make all of the money from being the influencer of the product and from being the person who's actually producing, making, and just putting my face in the label from the get-go.

I think they've kind of just positioned themselves as like the lifestyle experts and thus everything falls into that bucket.
And I think they might see themselves as the leader of this cult overall.
But if there is one central leader of the celebrity wellness brand cult, do you think there is one or do you think each celebrity kind of operates independently?
Mm-hmm.
I think they do it's just a side point, but I think they do a really interesting Gwynithi thing too, where they kind of reject or accept wellness to the degree that it suits them when it suits them.
Like they can live the clean girl lifestyle and and do the healthy thing or they can promote doing whatever you want.
And either way it's still chic 'cause they're Kardashians.
