There's three things.
Okay.
I always say that the fall of the Democratic Party is a tragedy in three acts.
Okay.
Number one, we didn't do enough on the economic issues.
And I think that Obama and Clinton get way too much of the blame for that.
I think they really tried to get after broader economic issues, certainly the Affordable Care Act, a whole lot of other provisions that were put in there.
But we didn't do enough on economic inequality.
The left came along and took some positions that weakened us.
I'm not blaming one group.
Everyone's like, well, you're blaming us.
What about them?
It's like there can be collective responsibility here, okay?
It's not an either-or choice.
Yes, we didn't do enough in economics.
And then some of the positions of the left, and there were a lot of people running around.
And when people say abolish ICE, do they mean abolish enforcement or do they mean change enforcement, okay?
And that's where you get into that difficult issue.
We've had criminal justice problems, you know?
The defund the police movement did not help us in any way.
